About Michel Corriveau

Bonjour. My name is Michel Corriveau,I was born in the south of France, in a small town where lavender blooms before the alarm bells. My childhood was spent among vineyards, cobblestone streets and conversations that were never rushed. Today I live in Paris, work as an editor in a publishing house and occasionally teach literary theory at a university. My work is silence, text and respect for words. I believe that language can heal, connect and change people. I love mornings with coffee on the balcony, cozy bookstores with wooden shelves, old cameras and Chopin's music.Travel is my weakness. I take the train just to look out the window and write down phrases that will never be repeated. There is an old-fashioned romantic in me: I love handwritten letters, good acting and the smell of printer's ink. But also-I respect silence, simplicity and people who know how to be themselves. I am not looking for the ideal. I am looking for depth.And perhaps that is why I am still not tired of life.
